A Breath of Ice in the Valley of Ancestors
The Valley of Ancestors is a land of eternal summer, where the scent of pine needles mixes with the buzzing of giant dragonflies. Yet even in this paradisiacal place, there are ancient traditions that demand true courage. To celebrate the birth of new hatchlings, the leaders of predator packs need ice hidden on the peaks of the unreachable Blue Mountains. Dan, a young herbivore with the heart of an explorer, gathers a small band of friends: the calm Grap and the agile Lima. They are only a year old, and they are leaving the cozy thickets of giant ferns for the first time. Ahead is a harsh ascent, where lush grass gives way to sharp stones, and the warm air turns icy.
